🌸 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Gan Lin Agriculture Co., Ltd. — Taiwan Phalaenopsis Orchid Exporter

1. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our minimum order quantity is 10,000 Phalaenopsis plants per shipment.
Different varieties and pot sizes can be combined in the same shipment, as long as the total quantity meets the minimum requirement.

2. Can different varieties be mixed in one container?

Yes. We can mix multiple varieties, pot sizes, and maturity stages within one shipment to fit your production plan and seasonal needs.
Each shipment is carefully organized to maintain stable temperature and humidity throughout transportation.

3. What are your standard shipping methods?

We mainly use refrigerated sea containers (reefers) maintained at 16–18°C to keep plants in optimal condition.

  • Container sizes: 20′ or 40′ reefers

  • Main destinations: North America, South America, Europe, and Asia

  • Lead time: approximately 4–6 weeks after order confirmation
Air freight can also be arranged for smaller or urgent orders.

4. Do your orchids come with official plant health certificates?

Yes. Every export shipment includes the necessary official documents:

  • Phytosanitary Certificate issued by the Taiwan Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine (BAPHIQ)

  • CITES Appendix II Certificate for Phalaenopsis

  • Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Customs Declaration
All plants are thoroughly inspected to ensure they are free of pests and diseases and meet import country requirements.

5. How do you ensure product quality during shipping?

All orchids are pre-cooled to 18–20°C before loading and shipped under controlled temperature and humidity conditions.
We conduct two quality inspections—before pre-cooling and before container loading—to ensure healthy roots, uniform size, and no damage.
This process minimizes stress during shipping and ensures excellent post-arrival performance.

6. What about tariffs or import duties?

Tariff rates depend on the destination country.

  • United States: may be affected by U.S. trade policy adjustments.

  • Europe and South America: most orchid imports are subject to low or zero import duties.
We can provide HS code references and assist your import broker with required information.

7. Can you assist with customs procedures?

Yes. We handle all export documentation and certification in Taiwan, including plant inspection, certificate issuance, and container loading supervision.
Your local customs broker will process import clearance, and we will coordinate closely to provide all necessary documents.

8. How can I place an order or request a quotation?
